Local furniture manufacturer is looking for candidates with carpentry shop skills to help build product! Great opportunity with a large company looking for long term fits! Job Title - Carpentry Shop Professional Pay Rate – $16-$20 /h (based on experience. Weekly Spread – Contract to hire Will you pay more for rock stars - no Location: Chambersburg Pennsylvania 17201 Shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am 3 most important things client needs this person to have Reliable transportation to get to work -Ability to lift heavy items • Good communication skills Responsibilities: • Match the appropriate parts to the stringers • Assembly of stairs by inserting tread and risers into the stringer, clamping the stair, gluing and hammering in wedges, gluing and stapling in the v-block, and nailing/screwing the riser into the back of the tread • Remove stair from assembly table and move it to the punch out table • Quality control by looking for any nail blow-outs, screw blow-outs, and making sure everything is properly seated and secured • Cut and install scotia and wrap stairs as needed • Stage stairs on skids for the loading department Qualifications: • Being able to perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as lifting up to 50 lbs. • Good problem-solving skills • Good communication skills • Prior carpentry experience preferred by not required • Ability to work as a team, as well as be self-managed when working alone • Conscientious, hardworking, team player, and detail oriented • Positive attitude and respect for others • Consistent respect for appropriate attendance and punctuality • Appreciation for a respectful work environment To Apply please submit updated resume.

About the position The position involves executing the installation of HVAC systems, hood systems, refrigeration systems, food service equipment, and shelving in new stores, rebuilds, and remodels. The role also includes installing new equipment for rollouts of new menu items. Responsibilities • Installation and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment, HVAC unit, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems and shelving according to action plan and quality standards. , • Balancing of HVAC systems, fryer hood, and dishwasher hood. , • Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership. , • Ensure all safety regulations are followed per federal, state, local, and Sheetz requirements. , • Be able to read, write, and follow instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams. , • Be able to hammer nails, use power tools, and distinguish colors. , • Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards. , • Barcode and document equipment for tracking of warranties, analyzing reliability, maintenance issues, and technical support. , • Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership. , • Complete all assigned work in a timely, efficient manner, according to company standards.
