CDL Operator Job The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation seeks a skilled CDL Equipment Operator to join their team. As an integral member of the Union County Maintenance Organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining the county's highway and bridge infrastructure. • You will operate heavy machinery, including snow plows, and perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles. • You will maintain detailed records by completing daily logs and reports that track equipment usage and maintenance history. • You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure operational efficiency and promote accountability within the team. This is a full-time position with a 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional travel and overtime required. Required Skills and Qualifications: • A valid Pennsylvania Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Restriction (L) removed. • A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. • An active certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the operation of heavy trucks and loaders, and two additional pieces of construction equipment, within the probationary period.
