Carpenter Pay: $30/hour Location: Hagerstown, MD Job Type: Full time Job Description We are seeking 4 Commercial Carpenters in the Hagerstown, MD area for a well known GC. Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of commercial carpentry with experience and familiarity in rough and finish carpentry. Projects will include new construction warehouses, hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers. Candidates must be able to provide their own tools and PPE. • This is a contract-to-hire position, with a contract duration of 6-months MAXIMUM. Their is opportunity to go internal with them in a shorter amount of time as well.* Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, flooring, doors, ceilings, and trim • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to project requirements. • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on carpentry-related issues. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position involves performing carpentry tasks specifically related to bridge structures throughout the state of Maryland.
