Carpenter/Roofer

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter/Roofer to support residential solar installation projects through general carpentry work, roofing repairs, and structural modifications. This role plays a key part in ensuring homes are properly prepared for solar installations and that any post-installation repairs are completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a background in residential construction, roofing, or carpentry, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: • Perform pre-installation site assessments to obtain accurate measurements and evaluate structural conditions. • Complete structural upgrades as needed, including rafter sistering, framing, and other carpentry work. • Identify and repair roofing issues such as leaks, damaged shingles, or flashing deficiencies. • Perform general home repairs related to solar installations, including siding, drywall, and minor exterior or interior finishes. • Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners and team members. • Document all work performed, including photographs and notes on site features, and submit documentation promptly. • Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe throughout the duration of the project. • Assist with additional construction-related tasks as needed to support project completion. • Adhere to company vehicle policies and all safety regulations. Qualifications & Experience: • Basic to intermediate knowledge of carpentry and roofing, including the safe use of hand and power tools. • Ability to assess and complete minor structural repairs and improvements. • Comfortable working at heights and on residential roofs for extended periods. • Physical ability to regularly lift and carry 40–50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. • Flexibility to take on additional construction or maintenance duties as needed. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. • Reliable attendance and punctuality. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Must pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check and drug screening.
