Job Responsibilities and Duties: • Measure, cut, and install various types of trim, molding (baseboards, crown molding, casing), and wainscoting. • Install doors, door frames, and associated hardware (hinges, knobs, locks) • Install windows and windowsills, ensuring proper sealing and insulation. • Install stair railings, balusters, and newel posts. • Install decorative panels, wall coverings, and other architectural elements. • Build and install custom cabinetry, shelving, mantels, and built-in units. • Perform light framing, drywall, and other general carpentry tasks as needed to prepare for finishes. • Inspect finished work for defects, imperfections, and adherence to design specifications and building codes. • Perform touch-ups, repairs, and adjustments as necessary to achieve a flawless finish. • Handle and store materials properly to prevent damage and waste. • Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Provide expert advice on finish carpentry options and solutions.
