Position Summary: We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Lead to be our first hire in Northern Nevada. This role will combine hands-on carpentry, site leadership, and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate has the skill to build with precision, the mindset to grow a team, and the professionalism to represent our company with clients. This is a ground-floor opportunity with the potential to evolve into Area Superintendent, or Regional Operations Manager role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform and oversee rough and finish carpentry scopes on active job sites • Act as the on-site lead for BC Inc. carpentry work in the region • Coordinate with local general contractors, clients, and subcontractors • Ensure quality control, safety, and schedule compliance • Source and build a local crew as workload increases • Participate in takeoffs, estimates, and job walks as needed • Help identify and develop local project opportunities • Ensure compliance with all local construction, labor, and safety laws • Maintain detailed job documentation and report to the main office Qualifications: • 5–10+ years of hands-on carpentry experience (rough and finish) • Previous leadership experience (Superintendent, Project Manager) • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight • Solid knowledge of framing, blocking, siding, backing, doors, casework, etc. • Comfortable coordinating with project managers and GCs • Ability to read plans and work from detailed drawings • Clean driving record and ability to travel to various job sites • Fully developed in Computer and Software Skills Preferred Qualifications: • OSHA 10/30 certified • Existing client or subcontractor network in the local area • Ability to pass a background check (some projects require clearance) • Familiarity with timekeeping, job tracking, or project management software • Procore • Sage Why Join BC INC? • Work with a collaborative and supportive team. • This role has growth opportunities that could lead to a regional leadership role. • Be part of a company that values quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
