Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our construction team, specializing in Tenant Improvement (TI) projects. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial renovations and understands the fast-paced, detail-oriented nature of TI work. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing various building components according to specifications and project timelines. This professional in this role will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the position's changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization. • Perform framing, drywall, trim, doors, hardware, ceiling grids, casework, and finish carpentry tasks. • Interpret blueprints, project drawings, and specifications to determine project layout and materials needed. • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of work. • Install fixtures and features such as cabinetry, wall systems, and specialty finishes as required by tenant scope. • Safely operate power tools and hand tools necessary for carpentry tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety standards and company policies. • Assist with demolition and material handling during project preparation phases. • Problem-solve field conditions and communicate issues or changes to supervisors promptly. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably with commercial TI projects. • Proficiency in rough and finished carpentry, layout, and reading construction documents. • Familiarity with commercial building systems, materials, and ADA/TI compliance standards. • Strong understanding of job site safety requirements and OSHA standards. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. • Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor on construction sites.
