Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team at Cumberland Construction Group. In this role, you will contribute to various construction projects across Kentucky and the southeastern US, helping to create high-quality structures while enjoying a supportive work atmosphere. This is a travel position requiring working out of state for 2-3 weeks at a time, with most jobs currently taking place in states bordering Kentucky. Responsibilities • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, siding, and door hanging. • Complete the installation of store fixtures according to plans. • Assist with installation of drywall. • Collaborate with team members to read and interpret schematics for project execution. • Participate in construction painting and finishing work. • Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards. Requirements • Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry. • Knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials. • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices on job sites. • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Willingness to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time.
