Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter Foreman to lead our construction team in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role requires hands-on experience in carpentry along with proficiency in construction management software and estimating tools. We do a lot of DECKS, REMODELS, and GARAGES! Knowledge of all aspects in the residential construction industry is a MUST! Duties • Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction workers on-site. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, to maintain a safe work environment. • Utilize construction management mentality for project planning and documentation. • Oversee projects on site, to maintain a team mentality. • Conduct regular inspections of work quality and adherence to contract specifications. • Manage project timelines and ensure that all work is completed according to schedule. • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance. • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and all people to successfully complete a project. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter/Foreman or similar role in the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. • Proficiency in management of people and being able to guide a crew. • Familiarity with framing layout, building, and all parts of Residential construction. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Knowledge of contract management practices is highly desirable.
