About the job This position is responsible for providing operational support in reconstruction efforts for clients. Qualified candidates must have extensive carpentry experience and the capability of working with little supervision. Candidate must be able to assist with scope development with Rapid Dry Restoration and run the project autonomously. A carpenter will participate in the development of basic-level carpenters. Intermediate Development objectives include: 1) expanding capability from residential to commercial and multi-family projects; (2) competence-led and self-performing emergency services; (3) increased material knowledge and proficiency with various carpentry subsets of framing, cabinetry, trim, etc. Responsibilities • Recognize potential problems with the project and timely request additional guidance and assistance • Answer most questions regarding the project and direct more specific or complicated questions to the client or project manager • Move and protect contents without damage • Construct appropriate containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminants in the working area • Using appropriate tools and accepted Rapid Dry Restoration methods, perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc. • Apply learned skills and materials knowledge relative to Trim, Doors, Cabinetry, Insulation, Rough Framing, acoustical Ceilings, Roofing materials, and Exterior Siding to daily tasks • Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in a clean, serviceable condition • Must maintain attention to detail • Will be required to meet Rapid Dry Restoration standards in safeguarding other people's property • Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines • May be asked to work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically • Report time worked and equipment, and consumables used timely and accurately • Attend Rapid Dry Restoration-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required Requirements • Able to lift at least 50lbs • Answer simple questions about the project and when to defer questions to more qualified personnel • Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks • Perform emergency services as needed - IE Board Ups, securing the building against further damage • Additional duties as required What We Offer: • Competitive pay (hourly + weekly pay) • Benefits package • Pay tiers based on experience • 90-day probationary period • Growth opportunities within a supportive company If you're dependable, hardworking, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of construction projects from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, field staff, and other duties required to execute EPC and Construction Management projects. • Manage and maintain high standards of project safety, adhering to company's safety programs, trainings, and policies. Coordination of activities of multiple global practices/disciplines, and facilitation of efficient cost-effective utilization of staff while adhering to contractual and performance requirements. • Oversight of the development of the project plan for site logistics, mobilization and demobilization, and support of implementation. • Verification of all applicable permits secured in accordance with project requirements. • Direction and oversight of downstream Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid process. Preparation of detailed scope of work documents for subcontractor and client contractor contracts, including bidder development, prequalification, evaluation, award recommendation, and selection. • Review, approval, communication, and presentation of internal and external reports, including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports. • Collaboration with engineering team to establish development and distribution of engineering deliverables per project schedule and requirements. • Development of processes and management of downstream contract administration, including request for information (RFI's), submittals, change management, contract closeout, documentation, and claims mitigation. • Oversight of Prime Contract, subcontractor, and client contractor invoicing process. • Coordination and facilitation of client, supplier, and company commissioning and startup teams as needed. • Implementation, audit, and oversight of project documentation. • Implementation of process for confirming project and subcontractor insurance, taxes/duties, licensures, and bonding requirements. • Performance of project safety, quality, progress, and financial audits and assessments as required. • Oversight and participation in project-specific non-conformance reporting process. • Responsibility for facilitating project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking specific to construction and construction-related activities or program level activities as required. • Development and oversight of materials receiving and management process, including inventory control, receipt of goods, storage, and transportation as required. • Review of contract documents with field staff to verify compliance of subcontractors and client contractors, safety and health requirements, quality, and schedule. • Direction of project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and recordkeeping/retention processes and procedures. • Review of construction field reports. • Provision of mentorship and training to interns, construction coordinators, and assistant construction project managers. • Provision of performance feedback for each project team member as requested to their respective department managers. • Management of community and building trades relationships. • Development and implementation of project labor agreements with building trades as required. • Management of staffing on projects. • Management of progress measurement, earned value, schedule, change management, and cost metrics. • Must be flexible with travel as position may require assignment in the field at a site working remotely from the office based on the specific needs of the project. • Compliance with company policies and procedures. • Performance of other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry required. • Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access). • Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. • Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Multiple years of experience on construction projects including industrial, food and beverage, commercial building, mission-critical, or other related industries is preferred. • A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required. • Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.
