Carpenter Louisville, KY Description This position provides support to all Kentucky Kingdom property through a variety of tasks in the field of maintenance including but not limited to construction, modifying and repairing buildings, roofing work, door and window installation and replacing and repairing portions of various structures including roller coasters. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, operating philosophies and standards of Kentucky Kingdom Theme Park. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Must be at least 18 years old. • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade. • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis. • Valid driver’s license for use of Company vehicles. • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work at various heights including Roller Coaster lift hills. • Must successfully complete post-employment offer drug screen and background check; if already employed by Kentucky Kingdom Theme Park must also be in good standing with current team.
