Carpentry Helper

We are a small carpentry business looking for part-time/full-time helper that has previous carpentry experience. The more experience you have; the higher pay and more days you will be called in. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, use saws and power tools independently. All power tools are provided on site, but please have your own hand tools and tool belt. Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to new build and/or remodel jobs in Henrico, Northern Richmond, and West Point VA. This is a 1099 position. You will get cash in hand when jobs are completed and paid out and receive a 1099 at the end of the year. Must be free from all 'illegal' drugs and sober on site. (We operate on the honor system). Felons are welcome! The contactors you will be subbing for will have you in high value housing. Please dress for the trade you are working for. You will be working along side the owner mostly, but occasionally sent to pick up supplies or left on jobs alone. Skilled Carpenter

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Carpenter. You must be proficient with industry tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures, and speed squares. We expect you to bring your own equipment to each project site. Our ideal candidate is reliable, arrives on time, and has experience with general carpentry tasks, including framing, hanging doors and windows, installing rails, and blocking. You also need to be able to lift more than 35 pounds and follow company safety regulations at all times.
