Job Summary Mountain High Homes is seeking a skilled and dedicated person with carpentry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating expertise in finish carpentry, framing, foundation, remodel, demo work, clean up, high end finish trim, cabinet installation, door installation, and custom decking. Multiple locations and job sites such as Tahoe/Truckee area and Kauai, Hawaii. Pay will depend on experience and level of quality work put forward. Tools and equipment are helpful, but we will provide most of what is needed. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and executing tasks with precision. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards on the job site. Responsibilities • Perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation with attention to detail. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. • Execute concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation as required. • Install fixtures, doors, and windows while ensuring proper alignment and functionality. • Engage in heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and completing installations. • Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications • Proven experience in carpentry or related fields; Demo, trim, installation, decking • Familiarity with construction estimating processes is preferred. • Previous experience in the restoration/remodel • Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. • Willingness to learn new skills related to remodeling, construction painting, caulking, rebar installation, and other trades as needed.
