This position is for someone who has high passions for all phases of residential construction and is looking for a career that will provide long term, full time, year-round employment. This role can range from rough framing, mechanicals, exterior siding and roofing, as well as cabinetry and finish trim. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in a few construction phases, and the want and ability to learn other construction phases. You will have the opportunity to build modular homes, modular additions, golf studios, luxury travel trailers, luxury tiny homes, along with other types of residential or commercial projects. To be successful you must be transparent, follow processes, and have a high level of motivation for results and deadlines. OBJECTIVES: Candidate must have solid background in at least 2 of the construction phases listed below Knowledge and ability to perform rough carpentry tasks such as identifying and cutting of all materials, floor and wall layouts, building floors and walls, squaring and straightening of floors, standing and leveling walls, cutting/installing rafters and roof trusses, installation of floor, wall and roof sheeting Knowledge and ability to perform exterior finishes such as installation of doors and windows, application of vinyl/LP SmartSide/fiber cement or any other various material, installation of aluminum/LP SmartSide/fiber cement/wood soffit and fascia, installation of asphalt shingles/ steel/EPDM roofing, installation of wood or composite decking and railings Knowledge and ability to perform interior finishes such as fiberglass insulation, drywall hanging and taping, wall and trim painting and staining, installation of doors, installation of door and window casing, layout and installation of cabinets (both boxed type cabinets and building of custom cabinets), installation of countertops, installation of various types of flooring to include LVT, hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet Maintain a high level of quality, keep the shop and all job sites clean and organized at all times in order to eliminate potential hazards and comply with company standards Must have a desire to learn new skills, techniques, and continuously grow Willing and able to perform both familiar and unfamiliar building tasks COMPETENCIES: Solid working knowledge and experience of residential hand and power construction tools, and materials used in the industry A self-starter with the ability to multitask and work in a quality orientated and productive environment Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure we stay on track to meet individual task goals and company production deadlines Excellent problem solving skills: proactively identify and resolve issues as soon as they arise Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with all customers, employees, and management Exceptional mechanical and critical thinking skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction plans, detailed drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Strong math skills to be able to convert measurements to allow for ordering, cutting, and construction of raw materials

Document all project activities including photos, job diary, and signing documents using the ManageIT Mobile app. g. Assist in managing and producing change orders. 4. Subcontractor/Resource Provider Management a. Maintain quality standards through site inspections. b. Provide evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors. c. Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions as required. 5. Cost Control and Schedule Adherence a. Ensure material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased. b. Assist in confirming the budget is reasonable and adequate. c. Perform construction services within budget. d. Help Ensure subcontractors complete all work in accordance with their purchase orders. e. Validate schedule and progress with Construction Coordinator. f. Identify areas outside of contracted scope of work. Necessary Experience and Skill Set • Superb customer service track record • Basic written and oral communication • Basic math skills • Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred Formal Education/Training • High school diploma/GED Physical and Work Environment Requirements Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Performing construction services such as drywall, trim, paint, punchout, etc., which may include climbing ladders. The employee is exposed to extreme conditions such as heat and loud jobsites. Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position may require long hours, working on-call, and weekend work.
