ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Supervise field personnel • Responsible for planning and managing production and safety on the project • Evaluating project work scopes • Reviewing plans and specifications • Coordinating field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers • Monitoring daily job costs • Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction • Ensure that all work meets project specification • Maintains accurate reporting of materials used and time reporting for field personnel Qualifications • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in bridge related field preferred • Must be able to read blueprints, and possess hands-on knowledge of every aspect of bridge construction • Excellent supervisory and communication skills • Ability to oversee the entire construction of bridges from start to finish • Strong quantitative and analytical skills • Must have good organization skills • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment • Basic computer and mobile device skills • Problem solving skills with attention to detail Equal Opportunity Employer – It is the policy of Rieth-Riley to assure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their veteran status, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, color, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, citizen status, and/or any other applicable legally-recognized protected class under local, state, or federal law. What You’ll Do Partner closely with leadership and G&A Partners (our PEO) to oversee and implement key HR initiatives Lead benefits, compensation, and PTO policy discussions and negotiations Administer and improve annual programs such as open enrollment, harassment prevention training, performance reviews, and employee surveys Implement and manage HR systems (HRIS, ATS), with the flexibility to recommend the best platforms based on business needs Help build out our internal HR infrastructure including Learning & Development, performance management, and compliance initiatives Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership, bringing proactive solutions and recommendations to the table Learn current processes and culture in your first 30 days, with an eye toward continuous improvement and scalability Work closely with leadership to implement an already-purchased performance management tool Contribute to employee engagement, workplace culture initiatives, and long-term HR planning What We’re Looking For ~5–7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally with at least 1 year in a manager or lead role ~ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred ~ SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly preferred ~ Generalist background with hands-on experience across multiple HR areas ~ Agile mindset, excited by a build-from-scratch environment with real leadership support ~ Experience with multiple HRIS and ATS platforms ~ Strong understanding of how to leverage a PEO partnership to its fullest potential ~ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills ~ A passion for creating meaningful HR programs and processes from the ground up
