Overview We are seeking a skilled nonunion Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of the construction and restoration industry. This role involves working on diverse projects, including fixture installation, drywall, tile laying, and more. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential. Accountability • MUST adhere to all company safety procedures • Job site clean-up and maintenance required • Demolition of existing structures might be required • Knowledge of drywall applications including installation, repair, patching and taping • Knowledge of insulation installation and acoustical ceiling installation • Beneficial knowledge of metal studs framing • MUST have knowledge of trim and finish carpentry • Ability to follow instruction and pre-established guidelines set forth • Preparation of daily time sheet Skills Candidates should have prior experience in the following areas: • 0-2 years commercial construction experience preferred • Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry • Ability to safely and frequently carry, safely lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. • Ability to safely ascend and descend lifts, scaffolding, stairs and ladders • Ability to safely use all power and hand tools properly • Ability to work under immediate supervision and within a team setting • Primary job function does not require independent judgement decisions A High School diploma or equivalent experience required. May be required to complete an apprenticeship or specified formal training.
