Duties • Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and laborers in the installation of Interior remodeling and Additions. • Oversee and ensuring all components are assembled according to schematics and blueprints. • Coordinate with project managers and Design Staff • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications; conduct regular safety inspections. • Manage daily site operations including material delivery schedules, quality control checks, and maintaining a clean work environment. Skills • Extensive experience in carpentry with a focus on rough framing • Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. • Knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks throughout the workday. • Familiarity with building codes related to framing systems like wood framing and experience with remodeling projects is a plus. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and project stakeholders.
