Rough Carpenter - Framing Technician

Job Summary: We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and can work well on a team. Candidates should be able to follow detailed instructions and complete their tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Looking for experienced carpenters, or someone looking to start a carpentry career. Core Accountabilities/Essential Duties/Responsibilities: This list is not all inclusive · Maintain a clean and safe jobsite. · Move lumber and materials as needed around jobsite under the direction of the foreman. · Build new construction homes under the direction of the foreman. Minimum Qualifications: · Knowledge of using power tools, nail guns, levels, and other hand tools. · Comfortable working on ladders and heights. · Comfortable working in all types of weather conditions. · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. · Valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation. Job Description Now Hiring: Carpenter, Full-Time Role Craftsman will be working on new construction projects. The company focuses on new buildings and renovations/remodels to commercial and industrial properties as well. Perform building erection of our pre-engineered and wood framed buildings - Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and protocols - Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing - Identify and resolve issues or obstacles that arise during the construction process - Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions. Responsibilities • Rough framing • Steel stud, wood framing and pre fab walls • Hanging, setting and installing cabinets, windows, doors, trim • Working on commercial job sites • Steel Erecting Additional Skills & Qualifications • At minimum of 1-4 years of professional rough or finish carpentry experience (pay is dependent on experience) • Hand tools and PPE • Good communication skills, reliability, accountability, and the desire to work hard and grow • Reliable transportation to work daily Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.
