We are looking for someone who: • Has 6-8+ years of on-job experience in a verifiable construction role. • Has 2-3 years of team leadership in a construction environment. • Can function in a high stress environment that can change daily. • Has excellent time management, delegation, and multi-tasking skills. • Is self-motivated and can work independently and as a team. • Can provide constructive feedback to team members and is open to receiving feedback to help them grow and learn. Key responsibilities and duties: • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of construction and job site safety. • Skilled at framing, trim/cabinets/door, windows, exterior finishes, finished carpentry etc. • Highly skilled in framing and finished carpentry preferred. • Work on jobsites daily and always maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Drive company vehicle to jobsites- follow all traffic laws. • Communicate technical knowledge and expectations in a professional/effective manner to homeowners who may be unfamiliar with construction terminology and process. • Communicate with Project Manager daily to ensure projects are on track. • Oversee 2-4 staff – ensure high quality of work and set clear expectations. • Work to develop carpenters and other team members. • Work week is typically 40-45 hours a week, not expected to exceed 50 hours during busy times. Requirements: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is a very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. • Candidate for employment must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record. • Candidate must pass a criminal background check to perform work on insurance related claims. • Basic knowledge of smartphone/email technology.
