About the role The Framing Carpenter is responsible for supporting and performing a variety of carpentry and construction-related tasks to ensure the successful assembly of piers and accessories. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in every project. What you'll do • Frame, cut, and assemble materials with precision, performing accurate measurements to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications. • Construct framing for piers and other structural elements by accurately reading, interpreting, and following blueprints, CAD drawings, and project plans to ensure all work meets design specifications. • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment, maintaining an efficient and safe workspace. • Collaborate closely with supervisors and other crew members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. • Support the assembly and installation of decking materials and accessories such as stairs, benches, and racks. • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to taking on new responsibilities as assigned by supervisors. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1–4 years of experience in framing, carpentry, or construction preferred. • Forklift experience preferred. • Proficient in reading blueprints, construction drawings, and operating hand and power tools safely. • Familiarity with modern carpentry techniques, materials, and measuring tools. • Strong understanding of construction math, measurements, and layout techniques. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
