We are seeking for Carpenters with a hourly rate of $26-30 per hour with a weekly per diem of $350 for a Project located at Leland, NC. For more information text/ call 813- 853-6497. As a Carpenter for our Civil District you will contribute to our team by: • Ability to read plans and specifications. • Ability to print layouts. • Compliance with all Company Safety policies and procedures, such as making certain that proper safety scaffolding and other equipment is in place while performing job duties. • Securing and putting away all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday. • Layout, set elevations and grade, install PVC water stop, set anchor bolts, block-outs and erecting and stripping gang forms. What you will bring to the role: • Good Attendance record with references from previous employer(s). • Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus. • At least 1 year of experience, preferably in heavy civil construction. • Strength to perform average lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasionally to 50 pounds, from the ground to waist level. Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling • -and with good eyesight. • Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis. • Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs. • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas (PCL offers training & certifications as required). QUALIFICATIONS: • 4+ years carpentry experience in residential remodeling and new home construction. • Preferred but not required: 2+ years Project Management experience in residential remodeling project management. • Preferred but not required: Intimate understanding of residential housing, construction, architectural design, cost estimating and construction specification writing is required. • Preferred but not required: Must have a verifiable record of successfully bringing projects in on-time and on-budget, as well as being able to provide references from satisfied clients. • Preferred but not required: Must be knowledgeable of OSHA regulations. • The successful candidate will be a team leader, an effective communicator in both spoken and written English. • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and able to learn and use several customer relationship management software tools. • The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work as a member of a team, be flexible and adaptive, be organized, be detail oriented, and meet deadlines.
