This position will assist commercial construction projects by creating layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting raw materials and helping with pre-con install. Primary duties center around assisting the foreman or superintendent in keeping a jobsite running efficiently and safely. Specific tasks may include building scaffolding, joining structural components with the aid of nails, screws or adhesives, constructing frames / structures to assist in pouring concrete, and other duties related to carpentry work.
