This role is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including buildings, automobiles, and grounds. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and janitorial services, with experience in performing routine vehicle maintenance, checking oil levels, brakes, etc. They will also be responsible for assisting with scheduling and delivering vehicles to vendors, keeping fleet vehicles clean and vacuumed. In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain the buildings to a high standard of appearance, including but not limited to, cleaning windows and woodwork, noting any needed repairs and supplies. • Perform other minor maintenance activities, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work as needed or directed. • Report any major repair work to the manager or team lead. • Clean or supervise the cleaning of restroom facilities to a professional standard of appearance. • Requisition needed supplies by following established procedures. • Ensure that grounds around facilities are free of trash and weeds; maintain lawn area by watering, mowing, and trimming. • Perform routine checks of the panic button systems, replace batteries, and assist with quarterly testing.
