Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Structural Trades Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and performing various tasks related to building maintenance. Responsibilities • Drywall Installation and Finishing: Install and finish drywall to create smooth surfaces for painting and other finishes. • Carpentry and Cabinet Making: Build and install cabinets, shelving, and countertops using wood and other materials. • Demolition and Repair: Safely demolish walls, structures, ceilings, and other features, and repair or replace them as needed. • Plumbing and Electrical Repairs: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including installing fixtures and making connections. • Maintenance and Repair of Doors and Windows: Maintain and repair doors, door hardware, windows, and window frames, including replacing glass and operating mechanisms. • Administrative Tasks: Operate a computer to complete timesheets and leave requests, and utilize Microsoft Office 365 for calendar, email, and voicemail purposes. • Vehicle Operation and Snow Removal: Operate state vehicles and maintain a valid driver's license, perform snow removal tasks, and move furniture as needed. Requirements • Experience: Four years of progressively responsible experience in the structural trades, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical maintenance. • Skillset: Excellent customer service skills, ability to follow verbal directions, and read written instructions on labels, machinery, and manuals. • Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects; climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and reach.
