Job Title: Carpenter Apprentice Location: Grand Junction, Colorado Job Type: Contract to hire About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter Apprentice to join our team on a commercial project in Grand Junction. This position involves general labor and carpentry work, with an emphasis on teamwork and a willingness to follow direction. While blueprint reading and leadership experience are preferred, they are not required. Key Responsibilities • Perform general construction and site maintenance tasks • Execute framing and rough carpentry work • Build temporary railings and containment structures • Keep the job site clean and organized, ensuring safety standards are met • Operate hand and power tools proficiently • Engage in demolition and material removal as needed • Install doors, metal studs, cabinetry, and trim work • Read and interpret blueprints when applicable • Operate forklifts and other site equipment (training provided, if necessary) Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience in general labor, construction, and rough carpentry • Proficiency with hand and power tools • Ability to perform finish carpentry, including trim and cabinetry installation • Familiarity with door installation and metal stud framing Preferred Qualifications • At least 2 years of relevant construction or carpentry experience • Experience with demolition and site clean-up • Ability to read and follow blueprints is a plus Why Join Us?
