About the Role Innovative Carpentry is seeking a CNC Operator to join our growing team. This is an in-person position starting as a part-time role at an hourly contracted rate, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time position with benefits. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in transforming raw materials into beautifully crafted pieces with precision and care. Experience with Cabinet Vision and EnRoute software is a strong plus. The start date is ASAP. Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines to cut and shape wood and other materials with precision. • Read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure alignment with client specifications. • Select appropriate tools, calibrate machine settings, and perform test runs to ensure accurate production. • Monitor the production process and inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards. • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and adhere to all safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain a seamless workflow. Carpenter

This position is part of BELFOR's reconstruction efforts for clients. A successful candidate must have extensive carpentry experience and be able to work with minimal supervision. They will assist in scope development with BELFOR Estimators and manage projects independently. Key Responsibilities: • Identify potential project issues and seek guidance when necessary • Provide information about the project and direct complex questions to relevant resources • Maintain and protect contents during transportation • Create containment areas for dust, dirt, and contaminants in working spaces • Use approved tools and methods to perform tasks such as floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards and doors • Attend and complete shrink wrap training, and complete at least 4 projects involving shrink wrap • Develop knowledge of insulation types, thickness, and R-values • Apply learned skills and materials knowledge to daily tasks, including trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing materials, and exterior siding • Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and keep vehicles clean and serviceable • Maintain attention to detail and adhere to customer service principles • Work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines and be available for night and weekend shifts, as well as occasional travel • Accurately report time worked, equipment used, and consumables consumed • Attend required BELFOR operations and safety training courses Requirements: • Supervise unskilled labor, Basic Level BELFOR employees, and occasional sub-contractors in residential settings • Answer simple project-related questions and know when to defer to more qualified personnel • Maintain equipment used in daily tasks • Perform emergency services as needed, such as board-ups and securing buildings against further damage • Complete other duties as required by management The statements provided describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees.
