Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set in construction and maintenance, with experience in various maintenance person tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. • Execute construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately. • Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as required. • Install fixtures, doors, and trim carpentry with precision. • Carry out flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work. • Apply caulking and plastering techniques for finishing touches. • Utilize airless paint spraying for painting tasks while ensuring a clean workspace. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications • Proven maintenance person experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects. • Proficiency in construction estimating and understanding of construction site operations. • Experience in various areas including but not limited to frame carpentry, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, plumbing, stucco application, and remodeling. • Familiarity with restoration industry practices is highly desirable. • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks as required. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
