Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join owner lead team in building a 7,500 sqft concrete ICF house. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Duties • Assist in the assembly and installation of structures and fixtures, including siding and trim carpentry. • Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. • Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and plumbers in their tasks. • Operate basic tools and equipment safely, including motorized saws, rebar benders, when necessary. • Participate in remodeling projects by preparing work areas and assisting with demolition or construction tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety on the construction site. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety. • Installation of floor joists and metal floor deck. • Assist in the installation of roof trusses • Installation of light guage steel framing and drywall \ cement board. • Running of rough in wiring • Basically assist in all task neccessary for the construction of a high end residential home. Skills • Familiarity with construction site practices and procedures. • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, including trim carpentry and plastering. • Ability to assemble various structures or components as directed by supervisors. • Experience or willingness to learn about plumbing tasks is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills with a maintenance person mentality for addressing on-site challenges. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. • Easy going personality and get along with the team is a must!
