The project aims to enhance rail traffic in the Northeast Corridor by improving efficiency, safety, and reliability for Amtrak, commuter rail, and freight operators. Project Overview The project involves building a state-of-the-art, two-track, electrified movable bascule bridge, complete with new track, signal, power, communication, and security systems.
