Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This hands-on position involves performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks across residential and/or commercial properties, including carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical work, general day-to-day repairs, and full apartment turnovers. A personal vehicle is required for traveling between job sites. Key Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry work including framing, drywall, doors, cabinets, and trim • Conduct basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains • Handle minor electrical tasks including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures • Complete apartment turnovers, including patching, painting, replacing fixtures, cleaning, and preparing units for new tenants • Diagnose and troubleshoot general maintenance issues and provide timely solutions • Perform routine inspections and respond to maintenance requests promptly • Install and repair flooring, tile, and other surface finishes • Coordinate with property managers and tenants to schedule and complete work • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines Requirements: • Proven experience in carpentry and general maintenance • Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems • Experience with apartment/unit turnovers preferred • Must own a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license • Must have standard tools for general repairs (specialty tools provided as needed) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in property management or facilities maintenance • HVAC knowledge is a plus but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.36 - $24.90 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
