CNC Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating high-precision machines to cut, shape, and form metal workpieces. Key Responsibilities: • Review setup sheets and specifications to determine procedures and machining sequence. • Operate CNC machines to precision-cut, shape, or form metal workpieces to specifications. • Assemble precision components using jigs, fixtures, and hydraulic presses. • Inspect workpieces for quality using prints and gauges. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing, packing, and marking materials for shipment. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide decimals, whole numbers, and fractions. • Strong motivation and ability to work independently. • Good communication skills: ability to read procedures, work instructions, and process routings. • Ability to read blueprints (preferred).
