Position Summary We're hiring a Framing Carpenter with a sharp eye, strong work ethic, and deep understanding of structural carpentry. You’ll be framing custom builds and remodels where precision matters. This role is for someone who takes pride in keeping things level, plumb, square — and knows that details matter. Responsibilities • Frame walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings based on plans and layouts • Interpret blueprints and execute precise measurements • Install LVLs, LSLs, beams, and Simpson structural connectors correctly and securely • Understand structural framing principles — load paths, bearing walls, joist/truss spacing, etc. • Keep framing clean, tight, level, plumb, and square — no shortcuts • Set trusses, layout openings, and install sheathing • Work safely with ladders, lifts, and scaffolding • Collaborate with crew leaders to stay on schedule Requirements • 3+ years of experience in residential framing • Working knowledge of framing materials (LVLs, LSLs, engineered lumber) and hardware (Simpson hangers, fasteners, anchors) • Able to read and work from construction drawings • Solid understanding of Wisconsin building codes and framing best practices • Must be accurate with layout, squaring, leveling, and fastener placement • Comfortable using hand/power tools and climbing ladders/lifts • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license • Strong work ethic, team attitude, and a commitment to high-quality work • Bonus: Familiarity with JobTread or similar project tracking software What We Offer • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Paid holidays and vacation • Company tools and equipment provided • Company vehicle use (depending on role/experience) • Consistent, year-round work • Clear paths for advancement into lead roles • A team that values precision, hustle, and pride in craftsmanship Physical Requirements • Lift up to 60-75 pounds frequently during an 8-10 hour shift. • Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a work environment for up to an 10 hour work shift.
