Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Position Responsibilities • Attend the project turnover meeting (estimating to operations). • Assist in generating/maintaining project schedules, both cash flow and workload. • Attend job meetings. • Assist in setting up/managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. • Ensure the work, including the work of subcontractors, complies with OSHA standards and company policies. • Enforce the company safety program. • Ensure all work is completed according to specifications. • Assist in completing all project plans. • Assist in maintaining all project-related reports. • Assist in preparing project closing documents. • Review construction documents, complete take-offs, and assist in obtaining pricing for materials and subcontractors, including DBE subcontractors. • Assist in preparing CPM schedules using estimated productions. • Attend pre-bid meetings. • Conduct pre-bid site investigations. • Assist in preparing QA/QC plans. • Test concrete in accordance with QA/QC plans. • Maintain and submit QA/QC records in accordance with the plans. • Perform all other assigned job duties.Education • Associate degree required. Position Requirements • Bachelor's degree preferred. • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry. • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
