We are looking for experienced carpenters willing to work in the greater Green Bay area! Our company builds custom homes and has been doing so for 29 years. Responsibilities: • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other material • Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials • Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound. • Examining building materials to identify any defects • Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste. • Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts. • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Skills: • Framing, Sheeting, Cutting, Measuring • Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation for cutting, shaping, and joining materials • Strong blueprint reading skills to understand project specifications • Ability to handle heights (climbing on roofs) • Ability to heavy lift (50 -60 Ilbs) • Able to work in outside conditions (we still work through the winter season) • Tool Belts strongly recommended • High school diploma or GED • Associate's degree in carpentry or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship. (a plus) • Physical strength and stamina. • The ability to safely use hand and power tools. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational skills. • Effective communication skills.
