Lead Carpenters are responsible for the overall construction of interior and exterior projects assigned. Their job responsibilities include reading blueprints, understanding client requirements, leading support carpenters, assigning tasks, possess strong knowledge of and conduct residential maintenance, repair and remodel work. Responsibilities • Support Project Managers in all day to day construction activities. • Beginning to end residential construction, including framing, remodeling existing construction, roofing and skylights, siding, door and window installation, insulation, drywall, flooring and tile, cabinetry, and precision trim installation • Perform as lead carpenter, managing a crew of up to four carpenters • Build additions/remodeling directly from blue-print designs • Utilize blueprints and complete projects with hand, power and air tools associated with carpentry. • General knowledge of masonry, plumbing, heating, and electrical systems • Responsible for managing materials, maximizing resources, and managing work flow. • Establish relationships and manage conflict resolution with all involved parties during projects to create an agreeable working environment. • Accustomed to extreme weather conditions, heavy lifting, and stamina challenging days. • Possess a enthusiastic, supportive and team oriented work ethic.
