Responsibilities • Project Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers to schedule and plan tasks effectively • Drywall and Finishes: Expertly install drywall, perform mudding and taping, apply paint or finishes to walls, trim, and cabinets, enhancing the visual appeal of restored spaces • Exterior/ Interior Work: Skillfully paint or stain interiors / exteriors, contributing to the overall restoration and curb appeal of properties • Demolition and Removal: Safely and efficiently carry out demolition tasks, including removing heavy items and debris, to prepare spaces for restoration • Reinstallation: Accurately reinstall items and fixtures, ensuring that everything is placed back correctly, and functions as intended • Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of workmanship, addressing and resolving any quality issues to ensure client satisfaction • Collaboration and Record-Keeping: Work harmoniously with other team members, maintaining detailed records of work performed and hours, and contributing to a positive team environment Requirements • Experience in professional home remodel industry or a related field is REQUIRED • 2-year college degree preferred • Strong work ethic • Honest and accountable • Detail oriented is a must • Strong communication skills • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a team and independently • Ability to work long hours, when necessary • Valid driver's license Physical and Work Environment Requirements • Occasional - Lifting objects/property, climbing ladders, exposed to extreme cold or heat, high noise levels • Constant - Walking, standing and working with your hands, exposure to power tools and other machinery • Frequent - Driving and sitting Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements This is a full-time position working hours varying between 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday–Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires longer hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. As a Rebuild Construction Manager you will be responsible for tasks related to customer calls, project monitoring, tracking, coordination, estimate creation, and project auditing. General office duties, such as drafting correspondence, filing, and creating reports are also included within this role. Responsibilities • Manage the client experience, overall client satisfaction and communication • Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed, educate clients on process • Provide continual project updates to client, Management, Project Managers and other job file stakeholders • Develop scope of work and estimates for projects • Assist with scheduling all warranty activities • Ensure all paperwork is complete with client - contracts • Ensure estimates are distributed to all necessary parties • Interface with Subcontractors for availability • Sign up new Subcontractors and maintain insurance and licensing • Issue Purchase Orders (PO’s) based on project budget • Acquire proper permits as necessary and ensure all correct procedures are being followed with local municipalities • Schedule inspections with building departments • Update budgets • Order materials and supplies as needed • Prepare project reports weekly • Upon project completion review file documentation and update as necessary • Perform final walk-through with client and conduct project close-out • Execute change orders • Maintain quality standards through site inspections • Ensure subcontractors complete all work in accordance with their purchase orders • Manage daily operations of construction team • Conduct weekly Work-in-Progress meetings with construction team and Management • Ensure two-way communication with the mitigation division • Train construction team members • Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate • Negotiate terms and set expectations • Collect deposits a signed contract • Create project schedule and timeline • Coordinate and oversee the execution of services • Conduct quality assurance activities and resolve issues • Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work • Manage any equipment, tools, and materials (assets) • Always follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines • Follow all policies and procedures • Perform other job duties as assigned Requirements • High school diploma/GED; Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in construction related field preferred • 5+ years of estimating experience • 1+ year(s) of restoration industry experience • Experience with Xactimate software • Experience with CoreLogic DASH software • Team building and tangible leadership skills • Strong process and results driven attitude • Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated • Strong work ethic • Honest and accountable • Strong communication skills • Valid driver's license • Willingness to work on-call shifts Physical and Work Environment Requirements • Occasional – Lifting objects/property, climbing ladders, exposed to extreme cold or heat, high noise levels • Constant - Walking, standing and working with your hands, exposure to power tools and other machinery • Frequent - Driving and sitting Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements This is a full-time position working hours varying between 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday–Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
