Carpentry Field Coordinator (Traveling)

Project Based (Travel Required) The Position The Field Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Labor and Materials for Turnkey Framing Projects. As the onsite coordinator you’ll work alongside a team to complete a variety of agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential carpentry projects. The position works closely with a Project Manager and Site Superintendents to coordinate daily and weekly carpentry objectives. Essential Duties • Maintain a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations • Build first-class relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers that reflect and support Madera Carpenters’ core values • Direct day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules and organizational financial objectives • Monitor project milestones, changes, and technical status reports • Manage strategic client and contractor relationships and establish clear lines of communication • Respond to escalated project issues and coordinate solutions to maintain project delivery budgets and schedules • Analyze project metrics to identify issues and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects • Visibly support and uphold the company’s strong safety culture • Provide the highest level of quality assurance Position Qualifications and Experience • Four-year degree in Construction Management preferred • 5 years of experience in commercial/residential Wood Framing construction • Strong organizational skills, judgment, attention to detail and decision-making abilities • Well-versed in all aspects of the construction management process: pre-construction; construction and close-out • Strong computer and technology skills • Proficient in Procore Project Management, MS Excel, Scheduling, and Bluebeam software • Able to travel throughout the US and Canada, travel is 80% • Possess a valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance Physical Demands/Working Environment: The physical demands listed here are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
