Job Description: • We are seeking a Surface Treatment professional to support our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. • You will oversee the finishing of aircraft components that are essential to aerodynamics, noise reduction, airflow efficiency, and landing deceleration. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRMs and shop orders to determine area to be sealed and painted. • Apply cleaning solvent or other solutions to interior and exterior surfaces. • Clean and roughen the surface of objects to be coated. • Apply paint primers, clear coat, sealants or adhesives. • Complete seal and water testing of components. • Install and seal small detail parts or small sub-assemblies. • Dispose of hazardous material. • Mask area for application. • Application of Stencils and Decals • Perform all other duties as assigned.
