As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for leading job sites, managing crews, and ensuring that every project meets our high standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, meaning you'll work alongside your team while also managing workflow, quality control, and communication with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and participate in carpentry work for high-end outdoor living projects. • Lead a crew of carpenters and laborers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. • Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to execute builds accurately. • Maintain a safe and organized job site while enforcing safety regulations. • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. • Train and mentor team members to help develop their skills. • Monitor materials and ensure proper use and inventory management. • Communicate with the project manager regarding job progress, challenges, and scheduling. What We're Looking For • 5 or more years of experience in carpentry/construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • Strong understanding of framing, trim work, and outdoor construction techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset. • Ability to problem-solve on the job and adapt to changing priorities. • Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
