Concrete Formwork Carpenter Full-Time / Monday-Friday (some Saturdays) Experience Required Employer Will conduct Background Check and Drug Screen Position Summary: The Concrete Formwork Carpenter is responsible for building and setting up the molds (forms) that shape concrete for construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete curb, sidewalks, retaining walls, and other hardscape structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine formwork requirements. Ensure forms are properly aligned, braced, and secured for safety and structural integrity. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden, metal, or plastic forms to hold concrete in place until it sets. Operate carpentry tools, power saws, drills, and other construction equipment. Work with the crew foreman to keep work safe and on schedule. Skills and Qualifications: Experience with concrete formwork, forming small retaining walls, landscaping planter walls, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. Strong work ethic and a drive to see work completed on time. Working Conditions: Work is performed on active construction sites, often outdoors in various weather conditions.
