Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of concrete forming and installation processes, as well as experience with various hand tools and construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures, including foundations, slabs, and walls. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project specifications. • Perform concrete forming tasks, ensuring proper alignment and support for structures. • Engage in trim carpentry work as needed to enhance the overall finish of concrete installations. • Apply caulking and stucco finishes to achieve desired aesthetics and weatherproofing. • Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete surfaces. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the project duration. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. Requirements • Proven experience in concrete forming, installation, or related construction fields is preferred. • Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential. • Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to concrete work is required. • Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques is a plus. • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials when necessary. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. • A valid driver’s license may be required based on job site locations.
