This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $25-38/hr based on experience and skill level. General Carpentry

Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Carpenter to join our team. This role covers a wide range of carpentry-related tasks, including framing, window and door installation, drywall, plastering, insulation, siding, painting, and finish work. Candidates should have experience in one or more of these areas and show willingness to learn and support the full scope of residential and light commercial construction. Success in this role depends not only on craftsmanship but also on the ability to take direction, communicate clearly with leadership, and work collaboratively with the team to meet project goals. Responsibilities • Frame walls, floors, and roofs in accordance with plans, codes, and site conditions. • Hang and finish drywall, including repair work and seamless finishing. • Install insulation using accepted practices • Perform siding installation with proper weatherproofing techniques. • Complete finish carpentry such as trim. Experience with casework is a plus. • Execute caulking and sealing tasks. • Perform interior and exterior painting and surface prep as part of project closeout. • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. • Follow direction from supervisors and project leads with attention to detail and responsiveness. • Maintain a clean and organized workplace. • Communicate clearly with owner and project manager regarding progress, needs, and potential issues. Experience • Practical experience in at least one of the listed carpentry areas; versatility is a strong asset. • Comfortable working under supervision and able to follow detailed instructions. • Strong communication skills, especially with leadership and other team members. • Working knowledge of construction tools, jobsite safety, and general workflow. • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset.
