As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, constructing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems used in food production. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment used in food manufacturing, including conveyors, processing machinery, and other food production-related equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements and equipment specifications. • Operate welding, cutting, and grinding equipment to fabricate parts and components. • Ensure all fabricated equipment meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations. • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machines and equipment to minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption in production. • Monitor the production process to ensure fabricated systems and machinery are functioning optimally. • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fabrication area to comply with food safety standards. • Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and other team members to design and implement new equipment and process improvements. • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or systems.
