Position Summary: High Desert Mechanical (A Thermogenics Company) is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Boilermaker with a 6G welding certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-quality welding and boiler assembly, repairs, and maintenance. This role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, and strong problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: • Perform advanced welding techniques, especially in 6G welding positions, ensuring high-quality, precise welds. • Assemble, repair, and maintain boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with company and industry standards. • Perform inspections and quality control to ensure all welds and repairs meet regulatory and safety requirements. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding safety and compliance regulations. • Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and supporting a positive work environment. Requirements: • 6G Welding Certification: Valid and up-to-date certification is mandatory. • Experience: 3+ years as a Welder/Boilermaker in the boiler, manufacturing, or combustion industry preferred. • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, welding techniques, and boiler assembly/repair processes. • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments and handle physically demanding tasks. • Safety Conscious: Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. CERTIFIED PIPE WELDER/FITTER

NOTE: Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. PIPE - WELDER Primary Purpose: Layout, fits, cuts and welds all types of piping and steel supports which will require certification. Typical Duties: Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques. Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position of welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerge arc, or gas welding equipment. May assemble parts by bolting and riveting. May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torch, straightening press, and handtools. Requirements: Workers should be able to; rate information using standards that can be measured or checked; Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; Look at flat drawings, pictures, and blueprints and visualize how they would look as solid objects with height, width, and depth; See detail in objects or drawings and recognize slight differences in shapes or shadings; and work easily and skillfully with hands. Physically, workers must be able to; Lift and carry objects weighing no more than 150 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds; aimb up on and balance on ladders, scaffolding or stairs; See well (either naturally or with correction); Stand for long periods; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl to reach hard to get at work areas; and use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects. Completion of apprenticeship program and certification at one or more levels may be required. PIPEFITTER Primary Purpose: Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems. Typical Duties: Selects type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications. Inspects worksites to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes will not cause structural weakness. Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. Cuts pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer & chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting m chine. Threads pipe, using threading machine, ends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine. Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fitting, including those made of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic. Joins piping by means of threaded, calked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints: Secures pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using handtools. Installs & maintains refrigeration and air-conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and piping. Tests piping system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indications of leaks. May weld holding fixtures to structural steel members. Requirements: Workers should be able to: Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; Make decisions based on measurable criteria; and visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings. Physically, workers must be able to: Work easily and skillfully with hands; Lift and carry objects weighing up to 150 pounds; See well (either naturally or with correction); Climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds; and stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch; Completion of apprenticeship program required. All employee driving records will be scrutinized. Any employee with a DUI within the last 3 years will not operate any Company Motor Vehicles. To operate Company Equipment on the jobsite, employee must have a valid drivers license. The use of alcohol or controlled substance is forbidden on jobsites and in Company Vehicles.
