Essential Job Functions 1. Regular and reliable attendance. 2. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE. 3. Responsible for Daily Shift validations. 4. Be actively involved in Behavioral Safety Process. 5. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, and a tape measure. 6. Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications by welding or threading joints. 7. Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to verify conformance with specifications. 8. Cut and thread pipes to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders or pipe benders. 9. Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports or related equipment, according to blueprints. 10. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade. 11. Inspect and examine each weld for flaws and repair if necessary. 12. Must be familiar and able to run hardwire, flux core, and dual shield. 13. Perform tasks assigned by Foreman. 14. Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and refer to the SOP Manual prior to each task. 15. Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures. 16. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed. X Squatting/Twisting/Bend/Reaching/Stooping/Squatting/Kneeling : Must be able to twist, squat, kneel and bend in various positions with or without objects. X Carry/Support : Must be able to carry and provide support to objects, usually holding it in hands, arms and/or on the shoulders. X Body Positions; Supine/Seated/Standing : Must be able to work in a supine, seated or standing position. X Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions. Working Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-8’s and 4-10’s.
