Essential Job Functions • Regular and reliable attendance. • Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE. • Responsible for Daily Shift validations. • Be actively involved in Behavioral Safety Process. • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, and a tape measure. • Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications by welding or threading joints. • Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to verify conformance with specifications. • Cut and thread pipes to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders or pipe benders. • Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports or related equipment, according to blueprints. • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade. • Inspect and examine each weld for flaws and repair if necessary. • Must be familiar and able to run hardwire, flux core, and dual shield. • Perform tasks assigned by Foreman. • Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and refer to the SOP Manual prior to each task. • Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures. • Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.
