What You'll Do • Join and Fabricate: Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes. • Prepare and Set Up: Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools • Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed. • Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications. • Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities. • Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
