This role involves welding, cutting, and fabricating custom metal products ranging from structural pieces to unique furniture and custom designs. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and confident working with various metals, tools, and shop equipment. You’ll work on a mix of production jobs and one-off custom builds, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship that our customers rely on Preferred Skills • Proficient in MIG welding (steel and aluminum) • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings • Strong metal fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting, bending) • Ability to safely operate shop tools (saws, grinders, drill presses, welders, etc.) • Experience measuring, marking, and laying out materials accurately • Basic understanding of fabrication math (angles, measurements, tolerances) • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • TIG welding experience • CNC plasma or laser cutting experience • Welding certification(s) • Experience fabricating custom furniture or artistic metalwork • Powder coating or finishing experience • Mechanical or shop maintenance skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
