Weld aluminum and steel. Roll form aluminum tubing. Bend and break sheet metal. Read and interpret shop drawings and engineering. Operate machines such as tube benders, shears, chop saw, band saw, drill press, grinder, bending breaks and shears, hand tools, and power tools to cut and shape components to specified dimensions. Cut, shear, glue, bend, and sand materials. Prepare awnings for paint application. Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product and quality specifications. Maintain a clean, SAFE and organized work environment. Perform related duties as assigned by supervision. Required Competencies: Knowledge of metal materials and fabrication methods. Strong communication proficiency. Ability to analyze, problem-solve and troubleshoot. Ability to take direction and follow guidelines as they are set forth.
