What You’ll Be Doing: • Assist welders and fabricators with daily tasks • Load and unload tools and materials • Use a tape measure accurately and make precise cuts on metal materials • Keep the shop organized • Use basic hand and power tools (we’ll train you if needed) • Follow all safety rules and shop procedures • Take trash out weekly (including picking up after dogs) • Perform other tasks around the shop as needed What We’re Looking For: • Some construction or hands-on labor experience preferred • Must know how to read a tape measure and perform accurate metal cuts • Interest in learning welding – basic knowledge is a plus • Must have a valid photo ID and clean driving record • Reliable transportation to and from the shop • Able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stay active on your feet • Willingness to help out with all types of shop and yard duties Pay & Benefits: • $16–$19/hour depending on experience • First 2 months: 1099 paid via Zelle • After 3 months: Full-time employee with benefits: Accrued sick time, PTO, Holiday pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person

Duties & Responsibilities • Designs, fabricates, joins and/or repairs equipment, fixtures and various types of metal objects and structures using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques. • Welds in controlled atmosphere, plasma welds, and cuts. elds high vacuum and high-pressure systems. • Heat treats and thermosprays equipment, fixtures, and various types of metal objects and structures. • Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools. • Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments. • Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered.
