Addictive Desert Designs is a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry and is currently seeking a Welder/Fabricator. This position is eligible for our *Performance Driven Bonus Program*. Summary of Key Responsibilities: The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabricating laser cut automated parts into welded assemblies, daily production tracking for build counts and flow, building complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing, MIG welding in quantity and may require minimal TIG welding (we offer TIG training). Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements. • Use a variety of basic manufacturing tools as needed per job specifications. • Read and understand product schematics. • Verify dimensions and product specifications. • Ensure that quality control standards are met. • Adhere to all safety standards. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities. • Knowledge of production welding and assembly workflows. • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut off saws, and grinders. • Knowledge of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies. • Self-motivated and respond timely to production metrics. • Contribute to building a positive team spirit and put success of the team above own interests. • Ability to speak English fluently. • Reliable transportation to comply with company attendance policy. Summary of Experience and Education • High school Diploma or GED. • Must be 18 or over • Minimum 1 year experience in Welding/Fabrication. • Minimum 1 year experience working in a production environment. 2nd Shift Welder- Chandler, AZ

Job Summary: We are looking for skilled Welders and/or Fitters (knowledge of both is a plus) to cut and join metals and other materials at our Charlotte, NC facility. Shift Times: 2nd: 4:00pm-2:00am, Monday-Friday 1st: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday Essential Job Functions 1. Perform FCAW (2G) welding. Be able to pass 2G test in FCAW on 1" thick coupon. Be able to pass 2G test in SMAW group 4 electrodes on 3/8" coupon. 2. Operate air arc to remove steel (back gouging). 3. Grind with 90° angle grinder. 4. Operate pendent controlled bridge crane safely and efficiently. 5. Read weld symbols and check weld size using weld fillet gauges. 6. Heat material to required temperature using temperature sticks and heating torch/cutting torch. (read and follow pre-heart & interpass temperature tables.) 7. Set machines according to procedure charts. 8. Use air chipper to chip of slag. 9. Use natural gas tube heaters to pre-heat steel. 10. Operate stud welder. 11. Follow weld procedures as it applies to volts, amps & wire feed speed. 12. Heat, straighten and be able to know when to use pre-heat to offset distortion. 13. Meet requirement of Class "C" and "B" welders with greater efficiency. 14. Perform other duties as required by management. Qualifications and Requirements Required: High school education or equivalent. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. over shoulder height. Be able to read blueprints. FCAW (2G) SMAW (2G). Be able to read weld symbols and be familiar with weld procedures. Must be familiar with WP1 (manual shielded metal arc welding of carbon steel) and WP2 (Flux cored are welding of carbon steel) and WP3 (Flux cored arc welding with gas shielding of carbon steel). Preferred: Two or more years' experience in manufacturing in the steel fabrication industry. Proficiency and use of Software, equipment, machines, tools, electronic device necessary for job: Air arc, 90° angle grinder, crane, heating torch, cutting torch.

91E Allied Trade Specialist As an Allied Trade Specialist, you'll supervise the fabrication, repair, and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts to ensure the Army's equipment is operating reliably. You'll operate lathes, drilling presses, grinders, welding machines, and other machine shop equipment while also serving as a welder. You will train to select the materials, tools, and equipment to do the job, and learn how to operate fabrication machines.
