MIG Welder/Fabricator - Metal Work Specialist

UNIVERSAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT CO. (OWOSSO) LLC Job Posting POSITION: MIG Welder/Fabricator DESCRIPTION: Assemble various parts supplied from the Metal Prep. Department using a drawing, welders must fabricate and weld all stages of Production which includes the following: 1. Skid Production 2. Front and Side Wall Production 3. Weld out and Final Assembly of Tailgate 4. Grind, Clean up and Final Inspection REQUIREMENTS: 1. Safety Awareness 2. Blueprint Reading 3. MIG Welding 4. Torch Cutting 5. Overhead Hoisting 6. Fork Truck Driving 7. Grinding 8. Use a tape measure, common hand tools PREREQUIREMENTS 1. Pre employment Drug screen 2. Previous work experience/ or employment references Work Stations normally consist of two (2) welder/fabricators, with torches, grinders, overhead hoist, and fork truck available to assist during the manufacturing process.
