Responsibilities • Repair and rebuild steel parts, addressing blowouts and imperfections to ensure product quality • Follow detailed directions and specifications to fabricate required parts • Visually inspect parts and measure tolerances using a tape measure • Perform routine machine maintenance and document work according to company standards • Assist the department in meeting production goals by producing high-quality parts • Operate overhead cranes to move parts and materials as needed • Perform other related duties as assigned to support team operations Qualifications • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" increment, or willingness to learn • Experience using overhead cranes is a plus • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work five days per week, 8-hour shifts, with rotating weekends (mandatory overtime on assigned weekends) • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • One year of previous manufacturing experience preferred • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed • Ability to stand and walk on hard or uneven surfaces for extended periods • Comfort working in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures Compensation Starting pay is $18 per hour, with increases based on experience and skill development. Overtime pay is available.
