Job Title: MIG Welder Pay Range: $25.00 – $34.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Work Locations: Northfield and Lakeville, MN Work Schedule: On-site Shifts Available: • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM • Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM Position Summary The MIG Welder is responsible for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components according to technical specifications and blueprints. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on various metal materials using standard welding equipment. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure welds meet required specifications. • Inspect completed welds for structural integrity and compliance with standards. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about production requirements and quality issues. • Follow established welding procedures and adjust equipment settings as necessary. Minimum Qualifications • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. • Skilled in safe and effective operation of welding equipment. • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. • Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime. Preferred Qualifications • Welding certification from a recognized technical program or accrediting body. • Experience working with aluminum and stainless steel. • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices.
