Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on various metal materials using standard welding equipment. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure welds meet required specifications. • Inspect completed welds for structural integrity and compliance with standards. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about production requirements and quality issues. • Follow established welding procedures and adjust equipment settings as necessary. Minimum Qualifications • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. • Skilled in safe and effective operation of welding equipment. • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. • Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime. Preferred Qualifications • Welding certification from a recognized technical program or accrediting body. • Experience working with aluminum and stainless steel. • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices.
