Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and mechanical assembly. This role involves working with metal components, interpreting schematics, and ensuring high-quality fabrication of products. The Welder/Fitter will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities • Perform tig welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components. • Utilize power tools and machinery, including tube saw machines, to shape and assemble materials. • Operate forklifts for transporting materials within the worksite. • Assemble parts according to specifications and schematics, ensuring accuracy and quality. • Tig weld components as required for specific projects. • Execute pipe Fitting tasks as needed for various applications. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience in welding, particularly with Tig welding techniques. • Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. • Experience operating forklifts is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
