Prepping materials for welding: cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces to ensure proper fusion. Welders must be proficient in various welding positions (flat, vertical, ) and techniques to join metal parts effectively. Inspect all welds to make sure the meet standards. Follow all safety regulations. We are seeking an experienced welder who wants to jump start a new career working with metal components of products such as cranes, crane bases, power, and hand winches. Other duties may be assigned. • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. • Connects cables from the welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, and wire feed speed as required • Starts power supply to produce electric current • Strikes (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece. • Manually guides gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle. • Welds in flat and horizontal positions • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications • Chips off excess weld and spatter • Positions and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in a jig or fixture Minimum Qualifications: • Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency • Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and prioritization ability • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrate our core values. • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to pass the required drug and background screen Preferred Qualifications: • Associate's degree (A. Welder​/Fabricator

Position: Welder/Fabricator - Starting at $20.00/hour and up, based on Experience. Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our team. Starting at $20.00/hour and up, based on experience. The successful candidate will read blueprints, cut and join metals, fabricate components, and ensure high-quality welds in accordance with company and industry standards. This role is at Anova Furnishings. Responsibilities • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders. • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. • Perform MIG welding as required by the project. • Set up components for welding according to specifications. • Inspect and test welds and fabricated parts for structural integrity. • Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow safety protocols. • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines. • Repair or modify existing metal products as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. • Familiarity with metal cutting and shaping tools. • Strong attention to detail and quality control. • Physical strength and stamina; able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods. • Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with CNC plasma, Waterjet, Turret, Break press, Bandsaws, Mill operation and other machines. • Understanding of measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and angle finders.
